Review: [Bandai] S.I.C. Volume 55 Denpa Ningen Tackle

Figure Information
Manufacturer: Bandai
Origin Series: Kamen Rider Stronger
Scale: Non-Scale
Height: Approximately 17cm tall
Original Price: 6,825 Yen (2-pack release)

Figure Box:

As stated previous in Stronger's Review. It's your typical SIC box whose design was pattern most likely from Stronger's torso area, the additional yellow though might have been meant for Tackle but still in all sense, the box design is bright XD

Figure Detail:

Though Stronger had a major redesign, Tackle is more on the adjusted and more stylized than imaginative. But still the design is nice, giving her a slim body frame and even making her shorter than other SICs give that female feel already. Basically her SIC is just more properly proportioned than versus the original Tackle suit whose helm was too big, the SIC rend made the helm more round instead of oblong-ish like in the original. Some additional edges like the shoulder having this feel that she now has shoulder pads. Additional details are superb as usual. And even though we all know the original Tackle didn't have any stockings, then it would all be skin, and even though there's a knee joint, it doesn't look bad too, so, I guess, it's a plus. ^^

Additionally, you can remove her mask, and reveal a somewhat derp face, lololol. well, SIC was never the one to actually have a good capture of human faces, Tackle's lips and nose do look fine when the mask is on, it's the eyes that make her face look so derp :p

And lastly, bandai provided people who don't like human SIC faces with an alternative. They actually included a battle mask for tackle to cover her entire face which is really nice IMO. I have no idea if she really had it in the series or not but she looks like a damn rider now. XD

Articulation:

And as I've mentioned in the previously reviewed other half of Volume 55, Tackle is ridiculously good in articulation and her points of articulation are the following:
- ball jointed neck (one at the top and one at the bottom), shoulders, torso, hips and ankles
- a double jointed hinge on her elbows and knees

And here's a showcase of some joint limit testing

What actually makes Tackle really good is that because, she doesn't even have the usual SIC limits, her shoulder pads are directly attached to her arms thus you can freely rotate Tackle's shoulder joint in full 360 degrees. Another one is that since she's wearing a skirt, the skirt's material is really soft and more flexible than the Riders' usual crotch pads, thus you can easily lift up Tackle's leg for high kicks and whatnot. Fun shots follow~

Final Thoughts:

Well, certainly, Tackle is the more winner part of the pack even if I hate to admit it. The pack is still quite good overall, just kinda disappointed that the supposed bonus (Tackle) was much much better than the main piece (Stronger) Anyway, Tackle is also good to be paired up with Decade although the Decade version had longer hair and was wearing stockings, she's really a winner even though I seriously wanted to discard before I opened the pack. XD As for suggestions, like Stronger's, you can opt to get the pack if you want to complete the Showa riders or just love the SIC line for what it is, OR if you're really after Tackle (which I doubt you are :p) else just go after a different pack XD
