Figure Info:
Manufacturer:

Series:
Vocaloid
Scale and Height:
Non-scale measured as 11cm from base to head

Snow Miku?
Basically, Snow Miku is what you expect, a winter themed Hatsune Miku. Her colors are composed mostly of of crystal blue and snow white. It's really basically a different colored Hatsune Miku, everything else is the same of the color scheme, I think she first appeared when GSC made a puchi of her for the snow songs album. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

The review will be more of picture reviews this time since this is basically a comparison with the regular Nendoroid Miku.

Accessories and Extras:
Basically, Snow Miku is really just a recolored release, so, she's got all of the accessories of the regular Miku nendo as well as her extra arms and hands and the scallion. Just recolored. :p

Sculpt, Details and Paint:
Now this is where this nendoroid trumphs. Everything is just great, from the seemingly designless Miku, she's become something way more lovely. First off, the color combination was excellent: silver, white and blue really capture a snow theme and an additional snow flake design on her scarf adds to her overall charm. The major winning factor of this would be her twintails, just why is that? The tip of her tail gives this impression that it's like glass (see from the pics below), crystal blue in a sense, this "effect" was also applied to her scallion. Aside from the glass-like hair, her hair was also filled with silver snow flakes which really looks well on her. This few adjustments just make her more charming than the regular nendo in many ways. Detail shots below:

Poseability:
Like mentioned earlier, she's the exact mold as that of the regular, so whatever the regular can do, she can as well, but due to her design adjustments, she proves more fun to pose. Mix and match of arms and hands and adjusting the twintails really nails how cute she is. :p

Overall:
For me, she's pretty much a much more preferable version compared to the regular. The only problem is that she's a WonderFest release last Feb, and since this one was straight from WF, I got her for a really ridiculously high price, but I don't feel robbed anyway, she's just THAT much worth it if you can't wait, but yeah, she's been released from the online orders recently. Just too lazy to review her for the past 5 months, lol. Anyway, considering you live in Japan, her price is pretty good for something this great.

Remarks:
For the scoreboard: (I'll be rating this in a higher ground than the regular nendo since that one was one of my early reviews)
Accessories and Extras - 8/10
Sculpt, Details and Paint - 10/10
Poseability - 9/10
Price - 9/10

Overall: 9/10

So, some final words. Well, Snow Miku is definitely one of the cutest nendos out there, if you ask me and you would only choose one from this or the regular, go with this especially if you can find a good deal for her, she's that worth it :D

  1. I always see fake Snow Mikus in Comic Alley. Just a heads up to Comic Alley shoppers. Don't be fooled by the low price, as you are probably going to get a low quality product as well, extremely far from those pictured above.
