Max Factory's Upcoming 1/7 Holy Angel Kamineko
If those of you could the remember the figma, then here's the scaled version
It's none other than Kuroneko wearing an unusual outfit as seen back in the novel.
I've never really became a fan of Kuroneko for the entire anime series' duration but I must say that unlike Kirino, Kuroneko already had figure releases that actually passes for me as best of the best and currently, this Kamineko is the best of the best for me (previously was Kotobukiya memories version) Sculpted beautifully by my favorite, YOSHI, Kuroneko retains that proud expression while having an optional Mask to be placed on her right hand. The light colors actually does suit her pretty well, even better than her usual dark goth loli dress IMO XD
Kamineko comes to our japanese stores by May and is priced at a tax inclusive value of 8,800 yen. Images and info from GSC's product page.

2011 Year End Hauls
These are basically my hauls from the Ozine Anime Figure Special as well XD
As mentioned in the previous post, we had touhou as one of the major series lineups for our display and each series received certain tarps and unfortunately, the Touhou tarps weren't used but was still up for grabs and thanks to Sensei, I got this touhou nendo tarp featuring a mind bending "you know me so well" character lineup since my top 2 favorites are there, Cirno and Sakuya, hahaha. Youmu's the other one BTW XD
Anyway, the Racing Miku straps would be the sponsor item for the figma RQ Miku which is yet to arrive here, figma Ayase also finally arrived and since I'm back to normal blogging phase for a while, expect her review to go up very soon. Lastly, you might remember that I got Aku no Musume Rin already before but I still didn't like Rin back then... so... I sold it and I finally managed to get it back after a year lol. So yeah, these 2 figures are my final hauls of 2011. XD A bunch of reviews would come soon since I can't shoot right now due to low battery of the camera. XD

November Hauls: Of Boundaries, Swords and Stardust
First wave of last half hauls
Got them earlier too XD (Starscream not included of course loool)
So after a looooong while, I finally got another Scaled figure, and it's not just any scaled figure, it's also my very first Touhou Project scaled figure. :3 And it's none other than Phat's Yukari! Upon feasting my eyes on her the moment her orders went up, I really loved the figure and the final certainly does not fail to meet expectations, I'll be posting the review very soon (Hopefully within the week ^^)
As for the other, my once disliked now turned into the very favorite character from Madoka, Sayaka finally arrived in the form of a kyun-chara from the 1st ichibankuji release of banpresto for the series, really happy to get it XD She's cute hahahaha XD
Lastly, my friend opened up a group buy from chara-ani's trading figs for ore imo and since I like Meruru and he was only after Kirino, I opted to get Meruru immediately and here she is now and I've been singing Meteor Impact since earlier this week looooooool. Anyway, that's all for today's hauls XD

And now for the breakdown, aside from the phone and bag seen above, Ayase will also come with a doujinshi of Meruru with a matching "disgusted" expression as well as a cross arm to go perfectly along with it. Ayase will also come with an upset face and her trademark handcuffs which also came along with the figma.
The only downside for me, she doesn't have a yandere face (am sad) but anyway, Ayase comes charging at her most hated otaku stores on March 2012 for 3500 yen. Images and info from GSC's product page.

I've been waiting for this XD
So, one of Koto's releases for today is that lovable possessive yandere, Ayase. Though as my friends would describe, she has a pretty plain pose, but hey she's a schoolgirl, I won't expect much and I must say the face is spot on XD
For those who want a kinder ayase, Koto did provide another face/head for her in the said manner. So, it's pretty much a win (too bad no yandere face though XD)

FREEing's Upcoming 1/8 Kirino Kousaka -Gothloli version-

And that's what happens when Kirino and goth mixes...
FREEing's take on tsundere Imouto, Kirino is quite different featuring her in her good friend, Kuroneko's outfit. While wearing the said outfit, Kirino is posed in a rather bowing position and her face having her really cute dere dere times smile. Which is a good factor for this figure IMO.

Apparently, Penguin Parade's introduced a new line of little cuties, and rest assured that the line would all be chibified characters but there is one catch though... And that would be that all the characters to be released in this line would be using the exact same sitting manner; but I guess that would be fine since they are ridiculously cute.
And to start off with the line, Penguin Parade releases the pre-orders of the first two today! And it's OreImo's Kirino and Kuroneko. These cute little figures are 7cm tall.

Max Factory's Upcoming Figma Aragaki Ayase

And following Kuroneko is Kirino's best friend, Ayase!
Well, for those who watched OreImo we all know that she hates Otakus and has this Yandere-ish side and because of that she comes with a disgusted face and a pure win yandere face (though not seen in the anime, it did show up in the game and probably the novel). Aside from that she comes with her bag and her cellphone and additionally from the novel chapter where she handcuffed Kyosuke, the said handcuffs is also added for her accessories.
Ayase is scheduled for an October release for 2800 yen. Images and info from GSC's page and I already ordered mine :D :D :D

Max Factory's Upcoming Figma Kuroneko
Aaaaaand most people's belove goth loli is here~
Hoping that max would continue with the rest of the cast :p
Anyway, first up would be would her faces; there's three of them, the default seemingly expressionless face that comes with most figmas, a shy one (quite similar to the default from afar but her eyes are looking to her right in this one) and that proud face whenever she tries to disprove Kirino XD
As for the accessories, as you've noticed in the shy face pic above, she has a nekomimi headband with her and some additional sketches she does, as well as a cup of tea and a chair. What's really nice is that she'll have a separate body, similar to figma Cute's, that will enable you to make her sit in the actual chair included in the release.
Figma Kuroneko's orders went up last friday and is due to be released on July for 3200 yen (tax inclusive). Images and info from Good Smile's info page.

Max Factory's Upcoming Figma Kirino Kousaka

Pre-orders opened earlier this week, but still... Arghhhh, Kirinooooooo
Now to start with her accessories, as you can see in the initial shot, the cross arms is one solid piece of pvc, thus, it already is one of those accessories included in the pack, aside from that, she also has a DVD of her favorite anime, Meruru. And her shoulder bag which can, of course, hold the dvd case inside.
As you've already seen above, she has her serious face, her "angry" face and the most lovely of all would be her all dere dere face which makes this figma an instant win for me. :p
Kirino is slated for a May release with the price of 2800 yen. Pics from GSC's page. Now, the only question is, whether I should order her now or just get her when she arrives. But for sure, she's in my figma must-get list. XD

Interests Caused by Favorites
So who is this character in red?
Well, for one... That's Reimu Hakurei.
So this month's random post would be about what the title says.
So wait, what? That's Reimu? well, let's just say that one in the screenshot is a touhou doujin game entitled Koumajou Densetsu Scarlet Symphony. Created by Frontier Aja, this is a game based from Castlevania, really a nice game, though it plays like castlevania, they kept Touhou's trademark which are bullet games, this game has a lot of dodging needed and boss fights at the end of each stages are indeed bullet hell bosses in Castlevania fashion. So, with this, an interest towards Touhou sparked from me just because I get to know them via my favorite game series, Castlevania.
Basically, I first encountered Touhou through Serio's Castlevania Fighter, Remilia was a secret boss in the survival mode of the game, at first, I didn't know who she was so, I got beaten and it listed that I was beaten by Remilia Scarlet, so, look ups here and there and I discovered it but still wasn't interested enough until beta 4 of CV Fighter was released which included Reimu as one of the new playable characters, and so, I got really curious with the sprite and all and found out about Koumajou Densetsu eventually and now, here I am knowing quite a bit more on touhou. Also, Frontier Aja will be releasing a Koumajou Densetsu II this coming December during the Winter Comiket. Part 2 features a greatly improved game system and gives you control of Sakuya Izayoi this time, of course, familiar characters such as Reimu and Marisa as well as the Scarlet Devil people will come back at this game.
Now, going to anime side, with an addiction towards the great kz of livetune in vocaloid composing, remixing fame, I found out sometime last week that the anime, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai's Opening song was composed by kz as well.
Still sung by Clara and Alice, the opening was really catchy and so, I tried watching it last Saturday night, and poof, it was like magic and definitely liked the series. It's still on going right now but the contents of the anime is really good especially for Otakus that faces the same kind of situation. Anyway, that's it for the random entry.
