A Look Back into Ozine Festival Anime Figure Special
So here it is!
Like my previous Onii-chan event posts I won't be covering everything but I'll still provide links where you can actually view more pictures taken on the event. XD
And before we start, kudos to the Team Onii-chan members and lenders for their hard work and dedication for setting up around 3/4 of what we had on the final display count during the ingress which was a day before the event. XD
Again, this is the first japanese figure-centered convention (not to mention 2011's last and biggest display for the team) here in the Philippines so it is quite an honor as both an admin and a member of Team Onii-chan to have participated in it!
One of my main focuses here would be the number of Touhou figures present which we actually pushed for even though it's a game and not really an anime. XD
The ingress was actually my first time to open this gorgeous Alice by Ques Q.
My good friend, Onii-chan, also brought along his newly acquired Remilia and it proved to be one of the biggest highlights of the event especially for Touhou fans who dropped by. XD
Fellow Touhou fanatic, Chevreuse, also brought along quite a number of Touhou Scaled Figures around. (Thanks for bringing along Keine as well! I've decided to get her finally XD)
Andddd as I promised in my Yukari review, I lent her for the display!
Most of the Nendos for Touhou was lent by homerunchan. XD
Of course, aside from Touhou, there's the usual K-On!, BRS, Vocaloid displays and additionally there's also one for Bakemonogatari and Fate/ series (unfornately I wasn't able to take photos of the Fate/ series >.<)

The K-On petites, this is probably the best shot I took on the event's duration.
Dat Azusa... really a lolicious figure I must say and I'm tempted to get one for myself! D:
GSC Mayoi looking sexy and all, makes you want to be Araragi huh? And maybe the owner, Alex, had already entered Araragi mode? XDDD
Many thanks to Zykes for lending this marvelous masterpiece of a loli named Strength. I definitely will get one once I have the funds.
And of course, we had a general lineup of scaled figures, chibis and articulateds in store for the event goers as well.
Alter's KOS-MOS version 4 makes a first (I think) in our displays as lent by our very own GK master, vhayste.
An array of male figures were also present in the form of Kenshin, Ichigo and the bishies of Hakuoki. XD
Once piece also makes a comeback on this event!
One of the most eyecatching thing for the display was the sea of pink in the form of several Madoka nendoroids with different faceplates and also of the cute (and dame dame) detective, Sharo in the form of her game version nendoroid.
Homura also comes in two different versions, her past and present appearances.
There's also Jehuty, notable for being the only revoltech AND full mecha in the display.
Also being the only two figuarts would be Wild Tiger and Barnaby from Tiger and Bunny! Le gasp, I haven't watched but I can't help but find Barnaby's design to be cool. DX
That's about it for my short coverage. XD The event was only two days but it was very much worth the time as it won't be successful without the help of friends, members, lenders and, of course, those who went to the event. As part of the Team Onii-chan admin, a big "Thank You!" to all the participants of the event for making our year end display a huge success! :D

The AME Monogatari Experience
7 months, 5 displays...
And continuously growing Team Onii-chan is!
Our 5th display was concluded last November 12, 2011 at the AME Monogatari event held at the World Trade Center. The event was good overall for me and our display was really massive during that event. Though on a personal opinion, it has, of course, some pros and cons XD.
The display was certainly big that I must say but even though as massive as it was, I guess I was disappointed a little since we were placed in the backstage part and probably unknown to a lot of people that there were workshops booth in there. Mostly it was the cosplayers that visited our display but the place was really cozy and we had a lot chairs, just really wished the display had more visitors since I think this is either the largest or 2nd largest display we've had so far. XD
The display had a really vast variety this time around as there were basically a number of figure lines present and adding to the S.H.Figuarts Riders, I've chipped in the Heartcatch Precure Team as well. But again, kudos to Team Onii-chan for another successful display and to all of the lenders as we couldn't possibly have a successful display without their help. ^^ Below are some of the shots I took last Saturday.

Was really awed in seeing Bakeneko Hanekawa in person, just lovely!
Onii-chan finally brought the big Mama, making her first appearance in the Onii-chan displays!
Kyubey... So evil yet so lovable that he got touched over and over again XDDD This is the 1/1 scale btw courtesy of Onii-chan member, Marcel!
Vhayste brought along another GK making its first appearance at the displays as well. It's none other than Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail.
One of my favorite figmas to date also makes her appearance at the event. Madoka's certainly ready to shoot some walpurgis wannabees and, of course, Kyubey has to be there. :3
More returning figmas are these three from the BRS original designs, I just loved the way they were setup XD
A sudden W mini-shrine as well, all of the SHF Rider present were courtesy of my sister XD While the chibi-arts Philip and Shotaro there are from yours truly~
TaJaDol with the effect parts also makes his debut!

Of course, those aren't the only ones in display, I've managed to take 95 photos out of the display alone and you can check the entire display photo coverage at my facebook page's AME Monogatari Album. ^^
Lastly, aside from the display, we also had another presentation and like the display itself, it had its own pros and cons... I'll start with the pros first, the area of the presentation was technically very very satisfactory as it was in the very same room as the display, presenting was very good as we can point to the ones in display during the presentation. Demonstrating was also better this time since the audience was seated in front of where we presented, thus, making the demonstration a lot better.
As for the cons, well, as we're placed backstage, it's a little hard to present since we're virtually competing with the loud sounds from the stage; and we actually really lacked time and they kept on rushing the time though I understand that since there were a lineup of presentations XD I'm glad actually that we gained quite a number of audience XD (Also, apologies to Onii-chan, Sensei and Vhayste for eating too much time with my part DX)

Collecticon 2011
And here I am again to invite people XD
And the event's on the coming weekend already!
Well, as you might've noticed back in the previous month I haven't posted much new reviews, well, that's because I've been busy as half of the month's weekends were taken by displays held by Team Onii-chan. And as for late sharing of the displays of the past 2 events, my facebook page has the albums in it and if you want to see do check them out: Otaku Expo and Best of Anime. I wasn't able to blog about them since I was busy at work during those times. XD
And now, this coming weekend, Team Onii-chan will, yet again, have another display at Collecticon 2011 at Robinsons Midtown. For starters, I'll have D-Arts Omegamon, Rockman X and Zero -1st version-, as well as Nendoroid Cirno again for display this time. So, once again, I would like to invite local readers to please drop by and check out Team Onii-chan as well as other toy groups' displays this weekend! ^^
Also, I'll be part of the stage discussion for Team Onii-chan which will be 30 minutes for us to discuss about the toylines we collect and I'll be up for a discussion on figmas; I think we'll be discussing on stage at around 1:30pm on Day 1 (Saturday). XD
