The Newest Magical Girl Team Enters with a Smile
We'll be missing Suite that's for sure.
With 3 more episodes left, another cure series comes to an end. While Suite has been a good series, it certainly wasn't as addicting as Heartcatch or Futari wa for me XD But still a pretty good series (and not to mention a double colored Cure who's also the youngest one so far). I haven't been catching up with Suite for around 6 episodes now I think but yeah, I'll get back to that soon enough. XD
While Melody, Rhythm, Beat and Muse are saying goodbye, like our favorite Rider and Sentai series, the PreCure series already has a new one incoming entitled "Smile Precure". While not much info is known yet, wiki says the theme will be fairy tales; Smile Precure will be another 5 team Precure which was last seen in the Yes Precure series. The team will be composed of Cure Happy, Cure Sunny, Cure Peace, Cure March and Cure Beauty whose colors would be Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue respectively.
I did seem to notice that the art style is very similar to that of Heartcatch and yesssss, they're back to looking like lolis (which I like since I like cute characters more XD) since IMO Suite had quite mature designs for Hibiki, Kanade and Ellen. XD Anyway, here's the teaser commercial of the newest magical girls that'll get stuck in my mind starting on February 5!

LOLWUT Video Game Bosses
So yeah, I rarely stray from reviews, hauls and reviews these days but...
Here's a little random post that might give you a similar LOLWUT reaction I had.
So bascially, it's all about the main pic (got from its wiki entry), it's a game called Revenge of Shinobi which was for the Sega Megadrive many years ago. And yeah, so what about this game particularly caught my attention?
It's a literal copyright infringement game on its first versions, as the 3rd to last stage (I think) had a boss who is literally SPIDERMAN! YES, the web slinging hero we all love (or hate :p), by any views he's totally Spiderman, crawling on the ceiling, throwing out webs, zipping down from a ceiling lol wut!? And what's even more ridiculous was after beating Spiderman, he literally mutates into the god damn BATMAN! YES, THE DARK KNIGHT himself with a little mutation that literally makes him have REAL bat wings. Don't believe me? Well, here's a little something to show it :))

And yeah, aside from those... there are even more copyrighted bosses in this messed up game, like Devilman, Terminator (as mentioned by wiki) and finally, the 2nd to last boss is actually the king of monsters, Godzilla and below is another video for your viewing pleasure.
Apparently, all the copyright stuff existed in the first version release and eventually they replaced the bosses with others due to copyright BUT SPIDEY REMAINED! LOOOOOL. For a ridiculous game, it did get successors that actually looked really neat like the game titled Shinobi for the PS2. But yeah, this post is thanks to my friend "Snacks" for linking this to me the other day. XD

After Event: Ozine Fest 2011
So yeah, here's a short read for everyone else.
Well, basically, a figure display was held again, this time it's just from individual collectors who actually put on a huge effort for a magnificent and MUCH larger display. Of course, yours truly participated here again and lent some figmas and a nendo, then brought a surprise nendo and large fig on days 2 and 3. But anyway, the display was surely a first as this time, it's on a wide open space with a vast array of figures on display. Display ranged from large figs, to nendos, figmas, shfs, revos, shinkis, gundams and even GKs, really neat and it was a quite tiring to be on guard for 3 consecutive days but yeah, it was an enjoyable stress at the very least.
The display was lead by my good ol' friend "Billy" and the success of it despite the fact that I was scared of the open display was mostly self rewarding. I also managed to have some new friends in the process, so, the rewards were great all in all. In the end, it doesn't really take a group for something this big to succeed, just a same goal from different people make it succeed already, and yeah at the end of the day, it's soooooo much rewarding when people thank you for your hard work and actually appreciate what you've done. So yeah, in any case, my friend "Billy" or even any other real friends lead a display again, then I'd do my part again, participate and help out. :D
And as for the blog, well, since I was out for 3 days, no reviews this week since I didn't have any time to upload pics that will go along, and as of now, I'm already physically tired XD And do note, that the pics only reside here in my pc in the house I'm at during weekends. Haha, but as for exchange, I'll be posting about the display instead! :D

Summer is Here!
And look MH go at it!
Well, yeah, at least in our country XD
It's officially summer here now, well, at least, it's still cold sometimes during the night and most schools have gone on vacation mode already, but yeah, enough of that. So, what's up with this post?
Well, just some random post concerning the blog and future stuff that you might want to read XD Last month, I've managed to rack up 40 posts, which is pretty high for me actually. Well, so, just how was last month? I've managed to review quite a number of figures and yeah, while I'm still on fire, with it, I'd keep these fast reviews up, as I'll be posting at minimum of 2 every week and as for my new hauls, I'm nearly done with my backlogs, so, you can expect reviews of my new hauls for around after a day to a max of a month and a half XD
As for the other stuff, I'll try to make some layout changes, well, not really the design but the gadgets and stuff, such as removing the c-box since it's full of spammers anyway, disabling the comment control, and probably removing the pending reviews section and revamping the reviews section to a more friendly version. I'll also be changing the blog header soon. ^^
As for the posts, it's still the same I guess, random game guides, random posts, figure releases and so on. But what happened to the teasers? Well, actually, they're not dead, I just keep on forgetting on posting them as I'd usually be out on weekends where I work on them cropping images and sorts since all my images are on my weekend house pc.
So yeah, there, I'll also try to bring up some surprises and also post new episodes for the photostory once I'm completely done with all my shoot backlogs :D
Well, that's it and I'll be going to bed in a few minutes XD Comments and whatnot are of course appreciated here. ^^

Digimon Xros Wars 2nd Arc
And this is part of the second part's official poster or sth XD
Anyway, just a quick entry with regards to the topic XD
Some Spoiler Alerts for those who's not up to date with the series.
Well, yeah, I'm a big fan of the Digimon animes and one of the anime that I've been following for a long time now is, of course, the latest series in the franchise, Digimon Xros Wars. It's actually pretty neat for being a tribute to all first 5 seasons and the idea of DigiXrossing is very welcomed too, it looks like DNA digivolution but also not at the same time. And throughout the first 29 episodes, we've seen basically a lot of Xrosses with the final being Shoutmon X5B and as we all know, the airing stopped after episode 30, where Tactimon got destroyed by Shoutmon gaining his own digivolution called Omega Shoutmon and thus being a somewhat prologue to what's about to come.
Basically, they decided to freeze it until today, April 3, where the timeslot actually changed as well making it somewhat like a Xros Wars season 2 subtitled "The Evil Death Generals and the 7 Kingdoms" where basically from what's left for us, Bagramon got all 108 Code Crowns and even if not shown, it's understandable that he has now reformatted the Digimon World under his rule and as where we are left, Omegamon only had the power to return just one person back and that is our ever trusty main character, Taiki. I actually loved the twists presented by the end of the 1st arc where a lot of insane surprises like Dark Knightmon being Bagramon's brother, and Yuu, who Nene was desperately looking for, is with the enemies.
This arc will focus more on the cooperation of the 3 humans who were given the Xros Loaders. So yay, Taiki and Kiriha teamwork most likely soon enough. And as an added bonus, we get more spoilers from the new OP for the anime, so, yeah, I'm pretty much hyped to what will happen next. And yeah, so, just blogging out some hyped out thoughts XD
Anyway, here I am to leave you with the new OP "New World" by twill and composed by, my greatest vocaloid composer idol, kz from livetune. It's a nice opening to replace the already great "Never Give Up" of Sonar Pocket from the first half ^^

A Little Out of the Loop
This will be just be a short and imageless post.
Knowing that this blog is just about figures, I guess, I really couldn't pass up on this despite this post being a little out of the loop; We all know that last Friday, March 11, 2011, Japan got hit by a 8.9 magnitude earthquake and then, followed by a tsunami leaving the country in an unfavorable state. A lot of people died, and well, it's kind of shocking really and then there's the nuclear reactor meltdown that followed. Good thing, a friend of mine there is safe.
Well, I'm just taking this one post to somehow plug a little for us to help the country in anyway we can, well, I can't donate right now since I'm broke but I hope, at least, this post can somehow help. I do hope Japan can recover from the calamity in the shortest time possible; also, a little prayer for those who do care about the countless people who died would be good, don't you think so?

Quality Control Issues
Well, guess whose hands are these?
So, the first random entry for the month focuses on QC issues.
Well, the reveal the figure in the pic, it's the hands of figma Sakuya Izayoi, where I've encountered my most recent factory creation defect. Apparently, my Sakuya is lacking the right hand you use to clip up the throwing knives that come along with her... What happened instead was that I got a duplicate of the fist right hand instead of the one supposedly present. It could've been other hands, but unlucky me really had to lose one of Sakuya's trademark hands, well, I still have the left but that feels so incomplete and annoying. So, what did I do? As you can see above, the other fist looks like it has a little bit of space in between two of the fingers, well, I tried to make some spaces with the duplicated hand but I actually failed in the end.
Hey hey hey, why didn't I just return it to where I got it, right? The problem is... I got this freshly new from a friend some time back in 2010, but I never opened it immediately due to the fact that I don't open things unless I pay for them completely first, so, my friend just gave it me that time so he wouldn't have to carry it around and I, on the other hand, only managed to pay for Sakuya completely last month which explains the lateness of opening her up and failure of being able to somehow return it.
This wasn't really the very first QC issue I've encountered as there's also some problems before with my Nendoroid Ryoko, but I let that pass. Anyway, you can see what's wrong with the pic below.
So, did you notice it? If not, look clearly at the left arm, it's just another right hand, twisted backwards so it'd look like the left hand. Clearly, these things really are annoying, likewise, I have a friend who bought a wingless S.H. Figuarts Unkh just last month. These QC issues really give much pain to some unfortunate collectors, and what's more is that usually you see these problems when you already carefully play with it all and thus, some times, local shops won't even replace these things due to a lot of loopholes for the customer.
So, now... I'm left at whether I should get another Sakuya or just leave it as is. Well, there is at least the left hand but still, would it be worth the expense for just one hand or should I leave it be? In case I get another, problem is no one might buy my old one since it is a fact that it lacks a signature hand. -_-

Quick Thoughts: Puella Magi Madoka Magica

This month's random entry would be some quick thoughts on this series.
Well, I've recently felt more like an Otaku than ever, especially this winter anime season where I found myself watching a vast array of the new titles this season. One of the most interesting things this season would be Puella Magi Madoka Magica or Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.
Why is that? Of course, upon a first look and impression, it'll be your typical Mahou Shoujo type show, but guess what first impressions are definitely wrong here, even the opening itself is deception at its finest. You'd think it's a fun fun show? Well, think again, this show actually gives me the creeps. Everything looked fine until a shocking scene in episode 3, which pretty much will most likely change the impression onto anyone. And that scene is actually turning into Meme level now. But anyway, what that is, just watch and let the shock get to you. :p
This is still in a way a mahou shoujo show, but the formula's tweaked very much turning the usual impression into something different and might even be new. Though episode 3 has left me heartbroken, the twists and the run of the series is just that praise-worthy that it alone will keep you tuned in for the next episodes. For one thing I'd spoil, this show's theme is dark, REALLY DARK, who would've expect but hey, it's still the 2nd most interesting show of the season for me. So, if you haven't watched it, definitely watch it.

A Christmas Romance

So basically, this photo was inspired from "Under The Mistletoe" theme, which was the theme for Otakai's 2nd Photoshoot contest. This is, shall I say, my "entry" for that contest. Well, I didn't make it in time but I still wanted to shoot this no matter what happens. I really loved the theme but I just couldn't join properly with the rules and Sho-chan wasn't around yet when it ended.

Interests Caused by Favorites
So who is this character in red?
Well, for one... That's Reimu Hakurei.
So this month's random post would be about what the title says.
So wait, what? That's Reimu? well, let's just say that one in the screenshot is a touhou doujin game entitled Koumajou Densetsu Scarlet Symphony. Created by Frontier Aja, this is a game based from Castlevania, really a nice game, though it plays like castlevania, they kept Touhou's trademark which are bullet games, this game has a lot of dodging needed and boss fights at the end of each stages are indeed bullet hell bosses in Castlevania fashion. So, with this, an interest towards Touhou sparked from me just because I get to know them via my favorite game series, Castlevania.
Basically, I first encountered Touhou through Serio's Castlevania Fighter, Remilia was a secret boss in the survival mode of the game, at first, I didn't know who she was so, I got beaten and it listed that I was beaten by Remilia Scarlet, so, look ups here and there and I discovered it but still wasn't interested enough until beta 4 of CV Fighter was released which included Reimu as one of the new playable characters, and so, I got really curious with the sprite and all and found out about Koumajou Densetsu eventually and now, here I am knowing quite a bit more on touhou. Also, Frontier Aja will be releasing a Koumajou Densetsu II this coming December during the Winter Comiket. Part 2 features a greatly improved game system and gives you control of Sakuya Izayoi this time, of course, familiar characters such as Reimu and Marisa as well as the Scarlet Devil people will come back at this game.
Now, going to anime side, with an addiction towards the great kz of livetune in vocaloid composing, remixing fame, I found out sometime last week that the anime, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai's Opening song was composed by kz as well.
Still sung by Clara and Alice, the opening was really catchy and so, I tried watching it last Saturday night, and poof, it was like magic and definitely liked the series. It's still on going right now but the contents of the anime is really good especially for Otakus that faces the same kind of situation. Anyway, that's it for the random entry. pRO Renewal Patch
So yeah, this was what I've been doing since Friday
Renewal came and a bunch of things got crazy
For one, all the exp tables lowered like shit, so most players had stuck up exp at the beginning, you just need to kill even a poring and your exp will carry on and give you a level up XD Aside from that, pRO has daily quests which give insane amounts of exp, dunno if they will change it but for now, a lot untouched characters surely benefit from doing it daily, heck, my 70 M-Blacksmith is now at level 90, my M-Crusader is at 91, my Assassin Cross just reached job 70 in like an hour, my F-Knight at level 96 is now at 99 and ready for trans.
While the patch still has several bugs especially the last exam in Guillotine Cross' exam, I fell in line for half a day today for the Ranger exam and finally succeeded some time earlier and there you have it, my Ranger is the one in the pic :D Anyway, just that.
Some thoughts on renewal, well, elementals suck like hell now, you can't level anymore in monsters that are ridiculously stronger than you and spawns have been changed big time, even enemy levels. The fastest way to level up right now would be facing enemies which are, at most, 10 levels higher than you, relative levelling spots are indicated in the map now. Oh yeah some more shit stuff in renewal, assumptio sucks like hell now and some supposedly really high def monsters can be taken down easily this time around, it's basically a complete system change but it's pretty well balanced. Though, jobs such as ninjas, gunslingers, taekwon classes and the super novice would be way out of the game soon since they can't level beyond 99 unlike baby characters which can job change at least to 3rd jobs thus receiving the 51 bonus levels and 49 new skills of choice, at least, they'll be able to pawn Trans classes, lol.

Fail Toy... NOT!
Ok, sooo, no initial pics this time. Another one of those quick random reads from me XD This time, it's about a certain Happy Meal toy... It's non other than the "world" famous Uchiha Sasuke Mc Donald's happy meal toy. If you've been visiting sites like 4chan, Figure/GK, or even in some sites where people makes figure reviews like hacchaka's. You get to see this supposedly for the lulz toy. Why is that? Well, aside from being posed like a person who is pooping, this Sasuke also has a really REALLY fugly face.So what's up with the blog post and post title? Well, last week luckily, my sis was able to snag 3 of this toy from a certain Mc Donald's branch near my workplace. So, just how is this not a fail toy? Aside from using it for gags from time to time, I recently discovered from Daybreak's Bell that this toy has such sweet and really amazing, not to mention awesome, balance. Apparently, it can hold up a number of things in its head or foot depending on his orientation and the object won't fall. At first, I really wondered if those pics were real soooo, I tried for myself, and amazingly, it's all true. Below are a few samples XD

My revoltech He Tie ShouSo, with that, such a cheapass looking toy is worth getting to try out for fun and whatnot; he even got into the news for his amazing balancing powers. Sasuke was originally available to Japan and Taiwan McDonald's but eventually it found it's way to Hong Kong (we saw it there when we were at HK) and here in the Philippines. His promo period here is long over though, we just got lucky that the Mc Donald's branch I mentioned above had a 3 for 100 Toy Bazaar, so, we got 3 Sasukes for 100 pesos XD

Slightly Disturbing Figures That Actually Sell

Well, this random post will talk about two specific figures who are not accepted by all but still sells like hell.
So, sometimes, there are things like "wth is this sh*t!?" moments when we see something from a favorite line or a favorite manufacturer and it actually appears really disturbing at first. Lol, well, ironically, "disturbing" as they seem, they're the ones that sell big time. Am I kidding? Of course not, lol, they actually sell, REALLY sell.
First of the two I'm gonna discuss would be Billy Herrington from the figma line. Well, the first time it came up, I was really disturbed by it. Why? First, Billy's a gay pornstar, and second, his figma has this face that looks like he's almost at climax, loooool. See below.

So... how exactly did this guy sell? Simply put, people KNOW when to buy figures that are extremely good for the lulz. Billy's other face is epic in a sense that with the large quantity of female figures manufactured out there, he's bound to do something else when the green minds get an insane idea (pairing this with any QB Revo + Revo Nanael's spilled milk = dun dun dunnn) Actually, Billy sold for me in the long run, a hell lot of images floating around 2chan, figure/gk and the like captured me for wanting this really weird figure. And am I really sure he sells? Of course, if he didn't, Max wouldn't have released THREE MORE Billy's in different versions!
Okay Billy's done and now going to the second SCARY AND DISTURBING figure. The shit here is that he's from a kid movie =)) So who's this character? No one else but WOODY! The very same Woody from Disney's Toy Story movies. So, why on earth is he disturbing and scary? Around a year after Billy's reign this guy succeeds his throne, basically because of what Kaiyodo included in their sci-fi revo Woody. A really scary "RAEP" face, yes, seriously... See below:
So how he sells? It's pretty much the same as Billy but he has more effect into doing the perverted roles, that face and rolling eyes, that's just sick when fallen to the hands of the imaginative. In fact, Figure/GK, 2chan and the like are now spammed with NSFW Woody pics, even doing with "things" with Billy O_o As far as I'm concerned, a lot of my friends are interested in getting this scary figure. So with that and the fact that of the all the sci-fi revos at amiami, he's damn SOLD OUT!!!! LOOOL!
But, of course, if there are Disturbing figures that sell, there are also those which doesn't like Sci-fi Revoltech's "Buttman", I mean, Batman. Really disturbing proportions disturbing Christian Bale head and an ugly cape :))

Apparently, last Wednesday ipbfree went down permanently due to some legal issues. And without prior notice, Otakai went down with it. Good thing, the SC were quick to take action and now, we have a new home and it's permanent, I guess.
Well, the drawback is, no backups, in short, all threads lost, all members lost as well as their info. A full reset, well, which is why the title of the post is such. Everything's back to normal and hopefully, everyone helps in restoring back the community to its former glory and of course, make it even better. Otakai at Toycon 2010
Tomorrow is Toycon already XD
Well as the title says, you know what it means again XD
We were lucky enough to be invited to have a display though we were given only 1 cab this time but you can expect really good displays such as K-On! Nendos, figmas and large figures, some exclusives here and there and some really old but still really adorable stuff for the crowd. This time, there will be some foreign visitors, so... you can expect somewhat the best of the best we got, some of the really notable would be Alter's Yagyu Jubei swimsuit (limited to around 1500 pieces over the world I think), Nendoroid Snow Miku and the K-On! figmas (less Azusa)

The LSS
Ah such a powerful force an LSS is! XD
So... What's an LSS if you still do not know?
LSS stands for Last Song Syndrome, it's where you listen to a song, and apparently, you like it too much and it stays in your mind, playing every second anywhere you go, in mind or even singing it aloud, just an addiction towards one song :)) Such that even in sleeping moments, it still damn plays in your mind, lol!
So, why randomly post about this totally unrelated thing to my blog? LOL! well, not really totally unrelated. So, I recently watched a subbed version of the DVD rip version of Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Double and Decade: Movie Taisen 2010. And even though I've watched it for a quite a number of times already, aside from being a good movie, accompanying it is a really REALLY good song by Gackt titled "Stay The Ride Alive". And by some random chance... I seem to have been addicted to it, I mean, going to GH, inside the MRT (and yes, I am singing it ALOUD and I apparently don't care how people would react) and even now, while I'm blogging this, I'm listening to it! :))

DeviantArt and Flickr
I've recently returned to DeviantArt
While my Flickr account is sorta new XD
Well, what's up with these two? Find out from the rest of the post :D
If you've been visiting my "Other Lairs", you might've noticed that only Multiply is the one that's partly alive while YouTube is on halt and DeviantArt is just like a ghost as my last lineart uploaded was like early 2009 or late 2008. XD Well, good news, to those who'd like to watch my account, it's alive again, but no more linearts this time.
Though I still have around 2-3 unscanned linearts left during the time I was away from the site, my deviant account now has my figure shots, you can view some teasers of some future reviews here in there, I only upload 1 picture per figure and some group shots I do not feature here in the blog. So with that, my deviant is once again back and kicking and I'll be uploading more in the future. Oh, last but not least, my deviant also contains some shots of borrowed figures from friends or from my sister. So, there.
Around a week or 2 after I revived my deviant account, I decided to hit Flickr, and boy, I should've been there for a long time XD Why?
Basically if you want a really good image hosting site, Flickr's your best shot. Here's a few pros and cons of what flickr can offer:
Pros:
- Flickr enchances your images greatly (my shots appear to be a lot sharper and better in terms of how it was when it was transferred from the camera)
- Flickr gives you unlimited picture storage
-Flickr has groups, and contacts (which is nice since other sites do not offer these)
Cons:
- Flickr has an upload size limit of 100MB per month (uploading large image files will quickly deplete your limit unless you go pro, which needs some payment unless someone gives you one for free)
-Flickr only allows you to view your last 200 shots in your photostream (unless you go pro again but older shots can still be seen in groups)

Vacation at Another Country
Double is about to fight Dopants in Hong Kong!
Lol, the fig of Cyclone Metal there is my sister's.
Well, apparently, I won't be able to update this week with anything since I'm on vacation at Hong Kong right now. Really nice to shop for figures here especially Bandai goods, they're literally scattered in the shops of Mongkok, really really good bargains here and me and my sister are going home with a bunch of Kamen Rider stuff and I got some pretty rare SICs right now. XD
Though, there aren't much to offer for anime/game figures here but still really really good prices like the Goddess of the Forest Elwing which is around 520+HKD here, really such nice deals. I'll be going back to the Failippines on Monday night, so, see you around. Oh, the one on the pic is our hotel room 8D.

The Adventures of Hachune-chan: The Beach
*Looks like Hachune-chan is on another adventure~*
Hachune-chan: Ooooh... I can't wait!
Hachune-chan: Safe trip! Now to board the ship~
Hachune-chan: So many passengers...
Hachune-chan: The sea is so pretty... Oh, the ship is about to leave!
*An hour and a few minutes later*
Hachune-chan: Helloooooo beach!!!!!!
Hachune-chan: ooof...
Riannon: Ara, are you alright, little one?
Hachune-chan:
I'm fine, onee-chan.
Is there something I can help you with?
Riannon: Yes, I'm looking for a guy with silver hair and dark clothes...
Hachune-chan: I see... Don't worry onee-chan, I will find him for you.
*meanwhile*
Arawn: Hmmm, interesting place... Ah, an interesting girl
Arawn: Hi there, miss, anything I can help you with?
Sora: Nothing...
*Moments later*

Isn't that who Riannon-nee was looking for?

Well, last weekend, the company went on an outing and the destination was Puerto Galera, it was a fun experience accompanied by a scary boat travel to the place since it was my first sea travel and the waves were strong. The beach was nice and sunset was the best I could use to shoot, I brought along Miku and my newly bought Sora as well as my sister's Tears to Tiara nendos for some fun shooting. XD
Extra Adventures:
The next day, we went to the Tamaraw Falls and also took some shots with Hachune-chan around XD The falls was really nice to see and wish I we could've gone in the bottom of it XD
