VS Series 01: 4inch-Nel Rockman vs. D-Arts Rockman
Welcome to the VS series, a sort of new occasional article type for the blog; the vs series will focus on comparing different articulated/action figures that are based on the same design with the intention of analyzing the pros and cons of both figures! That said though, recolors are NOT gonna be tackled by the VS series because you're basically getting the very same figure and it's only a matter of personal color preference with those; originals vs renewals, on the other hand, will be done from time to time.Anyway, without further ado, let's start the 1st vs series!

Corner Bites Issue 1: S.H.Figuarts Omegamon - What's Different, Might Be Different and Not [Updated 9-17-2015]
Welcome to the very first issue of Corner Bites! This is part of two new contents that I've been planning for the blog. This one, I've been planning for months now and with a bit of push since Luis (from the fanpage, thank you for your suggestion!) also suggested this, I thought now is a good time to roll this out. Basically Corner Bites is where I tend to give my impressions on certain figures because I love to analyze stuff when it comes to the figures when I have free time and as such, I give my opinions about it and some insights if it's an upcoming figure. And what good topic to start the Corner Bites than to discuss something about the recently revealed S.H.Figuarts Omegamon [Bokura no War Game (Our War Game)], which is part of the Tamashii Web Exclusives for January 2016.

Bandai's Upcoming D-Arts Dukemon
Finally, something to pose alongside Beelzebmon!
And my most awaited Digimon finally appears!
Easily known as Gallantmon in the US, bandai is finally releasing this wonderful Digimon which was previewed since last year; Packed with his removable Lance and Shield, Tamashii also stated that he will also come with a stand (which I am guessing would be the same as Omegamon's sucky stand but hopefully a better one)
Dukemon is scheduled for an August release for 5,040 yen. Definitely higher but luckily not as high as Omegamon's SRP. A no brainer get for me.

Bandai's Upcoming D-Arts Knight Blazer
A very late news but still definitely worth blogging anyway.
Because I had so much fangasms when this guy was announced, definitely an iconic video game character!
I was always a fan of Wild Arms series but it was 2nd Ignition which left a mark in my head and most of the contribution to how that happened because of this guy, Ashley, the main character, has the 100FP skill, Access, early in the game which transforms him into this toku-like guy called Knight Blazer who also happens to have an imba Theme which overrides even boss themes and seriously, this guy is ridiculously cool and over powered.
But enough with the fangasms, on with the figure! Bandai actually makes this guy sooooo much complete; Aside from putting on the Knight Fencer with him and allowing you to open up his chest for the Banishing Blaster, bandai included THE Rock, the pedestal he is stepping on the opening sequence (see main image).
Now, being complete and all; just a wishful thinking is that I hope they include Dean Stark's Twin Fenrir as a first release bonus (hey, it's free to wish XD) But anyway, as late news, Knight Blazer is part of the July wave release of bandai and is priced at 3,990 yen. Bandai's Upcoming D-Arts Vava
One of the most iconic villains in the X series is now in D-Arts form but as the pic implies... Another Tamashii Web Exclusive...
Also known as Vile in the US, if you don't know this guy then, poor you, he's one of the major villains in Rockman X and also returned in X8 iirc, he's also the guy responsible for Zero's first death since Zero had to heroically rescue X from being crushed by this guy which makes this guy so epic. XD
Anyway, he's pretty cool for his design really and he comes with quite neat accessories, such as a "wine" glass, two shoulder cannons and even a cannon on his knee (which I never knew that it existed) along with an effect part for it.

Bandai's Upcoming D-Arts Zero -Type-2-
Already ordered this but heck, epic news is epic indeed.
Seeming coming with a light saber-ish Z-Saber, I would like to think that it's the X6 Saber since it's thin though it's not in the shape of a katana XD But anyway, Zero fans rejoice as there is also an inclusion of the typical crescent type saber from X3-X5; Zero will also come with a new and updated Buster!

Zero Type-2 is scheduled again for a May release and is priced at 3,675 yen. Images and info from tamashii's product page.

December Hauls: An Early Christmas
It really did feel like Xmas already when I brought home all these. XD
In reality, 5 of those were my pre-orders which would be the scaled figures and figma Homura, but as for SHF Cure Black and White Max Heart versions, supposedly, they are also on my orders list, but my supplier got cut-off so I wasn't able to get them; I just happened to have stumbled on them for a ridiculously cheap price which is why I got them immediately. And lastly, for Beelzebmon, well, he's really cheap at HLJ and just when they had the flat rate shipping offer weeks ago, I had Beelzebmon ordered and so I finally have all D-Arts Digimon figures released to date XD
And a non-haul but will be someone's haul in the coming Saturday, whoever gets mine for our exchange gift will receive this tiny badass gundam.

The Eternal Song Episode 9: Everlasting Bonds Final Chapter - Family

Shou: Not for long, Greymon. The control's too powerful...
Shou: But I have a favor to ask of you...
War Greymon: What is it?

Shou: Unfortunately, I can't do it because the master prevented my armor from destroying it.
Shou: It's also only your claws that has the power to destroy it.

Shou: gyaaaa... I don't... know... But... you have to...
Shou: To protect... them... And please...
Shou: This might... be... my final request...

Mato: What are you waiting for!? It's her last request!
Mato: If you don't do it, everything we've done will be meaningless!
Mato: GREYMON!

Shou: I've failed the master again...
Shou: I've got nowhere to return to...
Mato: You're mistaken, Shou.

Mato: Someone has always been there for you...
Mato: You don't need your master, you already have a family.

Shou: (She's right... Greymon has always been by my side...)
Shou: (even when I was controlled, he risked everything for me...)

Miku: If you need a home, my place still has quite a room for more.
Miku: It's only me and Mato residing there anyway.

War Greymon: Shall we accept?
Shou: I'd be glad to...
-Miku's Narration-
Even though Shou couldn't see it yet. I was sure that their bonds wasn't just as partners, it's something more than just being partners... Perhaps what Mato said was true, maybe they are a family; no, I'm sure they are. When the time comes, I believe Greymon will tell Shou the truth.
We've gone through a lot and won new companions in the end... But... I feel this is just the beginning of something worse...
Background Music:
So, this ends the Everlasting Bonds arc, if anyone knows what Miku was talking about in the narration, then you've picked up the clues right. But that's it for now, so, what did you think about the ending of the arc? Was it good? was it boring or what? Do give a feedback so I can improve the scripts and scenes XD
With a growing number of allies, our heroes would likely be in for more danger soon enough. Stay tuned for the next Arc which will debut next month! It's what I liked to call the Rider Arc and you'll see quite a number of them too aside from the Observer's rider form, Decade.

September Hauls: Humanoids

Too late of a post actually
I almost forgot to post it. XD
Well, I was supposedly going to post it together with my other haul but one robot here proved to give me another "lucky" purchase as this time, he's got a WHOLE friggin' arm missing and luckily thanks to my mom's help, I was able to refund it and that's Bludgeon lol. I'll probably be getting another piece by Friday (hopefully, there are still stocks of him left for clearance >.<)
Lat Miku also arrived before the Best of Anime weekend so I picked her up asap along with Zero who arrived much much earlier. Reviews of these 3 will probably be up in around 2 weeks time I guess. XD Anyway, there's still one more haulage left for the month >:)

The Eternal Song Episode 8: Everlasting Bonds Chapter 5 - Retake The Will
War Greymon: Shou's being persistent...
*clash*
?????: It's okay, let him be, he's powerless anyway.
?????: Now, get the Diva for me, Shou!
?????: Now, get the Diva for me, Shou!
*crash from outside*
Miku: I'll see what it is.
Mato: Be careful, Miku. I'll follow you in a while.
Mato: Be careful, Miku. I'll follow you in a while.
Miku: Mato, It's Greymon!
Mato: You look like a mess, what happened to you, Greymon?
War Greymon: Miss... Kuroi...
War Greymon: Miss... Kuroi...
-Moments later-
Mato: Tell me what happened, Greymon. And where's Shou?
War Greymon: It doesn't matter what happened to me but Shou...
War Greymon: The Master... she punished Shou and experimented on her... Shou has been turned into a mindless killing machine.
War Greymon: The Master... she punished Shou and experimented on her... Shou has been turned into a mindless killing machine.
Mato: WHAT!?
War Greymon: It's as you heard, her abilities are all also amplified by the experiment...
War Greymon: The Master's probably given up on having her destroy me, but I'm sure it'll be miss Diva that she's going after next.
War Greymon: The Master's probably given up on having her destroy me, but I'm sure it'll be miss Diva that she's going after next.
War Greymon: And I can't do anything to make her remember!
Mato: Don't give up just yet... There's one way I can think of.
War Greymon: Is that true? How will you do it then?
Mato: Remember what happened to that shop owner?
Mato: Your song was the one that helped him regained his will...
Mato: If that's the case, then maybe...
Mato: Your song was the one that helped him regained his will...
Mato: If that's the case, then maybe...
Miku: My song... I'll give it a try, for Shou...
Mato: If she's coming then I need to prepare...
Miku: You really care a lot about Shou, don't you?
War Greymon: Shou's more than just a partner, miss Diva...
War Greymon: I will protect her even at the cost my life!
War Greymon: I will protect her even at the cost my life!
Miku: Greymon... You can't be her...
*crash from a nearby area*
War Greymon: Looks like she's finally here...
Miku: Can you fight in that condition?
War Greymon: My body's made up of data, I just need a little rest and I can reconstruct my armor.
-The three head to the place where the crash was heard-
Mato: Is that her?
War Greymon: Yes... The master's creation...
Miku: Shou...
War Greymon: Yes... The master's creation...
Miku: Shou...
Mato: It's not such a good plan but here's what we'll do...
Mato: I'll distract Shou for a while, once you see an opening, hold her movements and when that happens... Miku, sing your song for her.
War Greymon: Alright, miss Kuroi.
Miku: Right, I'll do my best.
Mato: Here she comes! Miku, stay behind me.
Miku: Good luck, you two...
War Greymon: I appreciate it, miss Diva.
Miku: Good luck, you two...
War Greymon: I appreciate it, miss Diva.
Mato: Shou, you're better than this! Fight it with your will!
Mato: (her strength... it's almost the same as mine.)
Mato: tch!
Mato: Greymon, do it!!
*grabs*
War Greymon: Shou, stop it! Come to your senses!
War Greymon: Shou, stop it! Come to your senses!
Mato: Miku, NOW!
Miku: Got it!
Miku: *sings*
Miku: *sings*
Shou: gyaaaaaaaaa!!!
War Greymon: Shou! Come back!!
War Greymon: Shou! Come back!!
Background Music:
So finally FINALLY! After 7 months of taking a break, I finally managed to continue the story and now here you see part 1 of the 2-part arc finale. I apologize for the lack of fight scenes since Revoltech Griffon was a bitch to pose around XD
So how does it feel that War Greymon is now fighting alongside our heroines? And what was Miku trying to say before the crash happened? Did anyone get the major hint this time? XD For those who were wondering what Greymon did in the first few frames where Shou was chasing him, he basically threw his remaining drammon cutter to distract Shou and escape from her vision.
The song used for this episode was Saihate it's a farewell song actually for someone who died XD And I think it was a good song to reach out to Shou's will as her journey is about her brother who she doesn't even know if he's dead or not. The finale will be posted soon and will be up before the month ends as I promised that I would finish the Arc this month.
