Wave's Upcoming Beach Queens 1/10 Aiba Ruri
The will giver to Arma... in her swimsuit to boot!
I'm quite surprised that Wave added Sacred Seven to their list XD
It was pretty eyecatching that it would be wave to open the first(?) figure pre order for the series of Sacred Seven since I've been hyped and wishing that Bandai would somehow make SHFs for them but anyways, back to the topic.
I can't remember pretty well if Ruri did wear such in the series but it's pretty cute although not really that amazing XD It would be a good addition to any BQ line collectors though and aside from the ingenius neck joint Wave's been producing, Ruri also comes with hair ponytail untied.
Ruri is scheduled for a July release and is priced at 4,400 yen. Images and info from wave's product page.

December Hauls: An Early Christmas
It really did feel like Xmas already when I brought home all these. XD
In reality, 5 of those were my pre-orders which would be the scaled figures and figma Homura, but as for SHF Cure Black and White Max Heart versions, supposedly, they are also on my orders list, but my supplier got cut-off so I wasn't able to get them; I just happened to have stumbled on them for a ridiculously cheap price which is why I got them immediately. And lastly, for Beelzebmon, well, he's really cheap at HLJ and just when they had the flat rate shipping offer weeks ago, I had Beelzebmon ordered and so I finally have all D-Arts Digimon figures released to date XD
And a non-haul but will be someone's haul in the coming Saturday, whoever gets mine for our exchange gift will receive this tiny badass gundam.

Wave's Upcoming Beach Queens 1/10 Sakura Kyoko
We have Kyoko!
Well, quite frankly speaking I don't dig Kyoko's BQ, it's as if something's odd with her face; it's just not Kyoko enough for me I guess, even the unblogged Miki Sayaka was better in terms of capturing the character's face. hmmmmmmmmm, but meh, oh, she's carrying a watermelon btw idk why though XD
Kyoko is scheduled for a January 2012 release as well for 3990 yen. Info and pics from Wave's information page.
Wave's Upcoming Beach Queens 1/10 Tomoe Mami
And finally appearing for the beach queens lineup is Mami-san!
Well, obvious good I guess, and I seriously think she's the best among the 5 Beach Queens in terms of face and *cough* body *cough*. Still powered by a neck joint, I can already foreshadow headless BQ Mamis in the future. XD
Mami also has an exclusive version and guess who the hell she comes with...

Wave's Upcoming DreamTech 1/8 Takane Manaka
And she's the only one appearing in my news :p
Shifting from the regular 1/10 scale, DreamTech sort of comes back and presents us with the 3 Love Plus girls in new, better and sexier swimsuits than the ones in their Beach Queen's lineup; Manaka goes first (as usual) and now sporting a very fine and tight white swimsuit as opposed to the polka dotted one from before. And even the face does a really good job of spelling Manaka in it.
Manaka is scheduled for a November release for 6,510 yen which isn't bad already. Images and info from Wave's page. And since I won't be posting the other 2, you might want to visit their pages in case it's them you're after: Rinko, Nene

Wave's Upcoming 1/10 Beach Queens Akemi Homura
It's raining Homuhomus and here's another delayed news XD
While still possessing the usual neck joint innovation for wave's 1/10 line of figures, Homura comes with 2 more extras, an extra face and an extra hairpiece where she is wearing Madoka's ribbon.
Beach Queen Homura is set for a December release for 3990 yen. Images and info from wave's standard Homura page.
Similarly to Madoka, she also has a Limited version which features her shy past self. This a Dengeki Hobby exclusive (probably mail order).

The Exclsuive version comes out in January 2012 instead and is priced at 4,620 yen. Image and info from the exclusive page.

Wave's Upcoming 1/10 Beach Queens Kaname Madoka
And here we got wave releasing probably the first official Madoka scaled figure :3
Similarly to all previous wave figures, Madoka will be getting the neck joint treatment as well. And though I have to say I already streamlined and I avoid swimsuits, I really find this Madoka really charming since they even got her face right(even the wideness, lolololol). And if that's not enough, Wave is also releasing a GA exclusive which will have an additional inclusion of that freaky troll familiar, Kyubey.

The regular version is set for an October release for 3990 yen (tax inclusive) while the GA exclusive one is set for a November release for 4410 yen (tax inclusive).

Teasers: Yu and Ryoko

Time for another set of teasers
Managed to shoot them last Saturday night along with a borrowed figure XD
First off would be Kawamura Yu, first of all she's a figma, and you know me, I'm not really a fan of figmas and would just get them when it's for character shrine purposes, but how the heck did Yu pull it off? Well, she's too moe to begin with and quite a lot of accessories too, especially something that caught my eye, but I won't spoil it yet. You might have a clue though when you get what kind of accessories she comes with. Anyway, that's it for Yu. :3
Next up is my 7th Ryoko in the collection, this time is by Wave scaled at 1/10. Though really not that good in details, she definitely has a lot up her sleeve to get for that loss. And maybe you'll already get one or two of those by looking at the 2nd teaser shot below :3

September Haul: Stabby Alien # 7

Yep, the last haul for the weekend would be her
As the title says, she's my 7th Ryoko in the collection.
Well, just really got her since the figure was up at mandarake for a price of 1800yen, and since, I am aiming for her anyway, that was a chance I could not pass up. Asked my friend again to get and she finally arrived. Really thought she looked awkward at first but her neck is ball jointed which fixes how she'd look like overall. Though overall she's not that great, she still has a winner face :D
Anyway, here's the "partner" character of my haul.

Murakami's Updates (October '09) Part 2
Asakura Invasion starts!
Well, if you've noticed the pre-order list, Max's 1/8 Ryoko has been included. She's actually a pretty old figure already, old like 2 years ago which makes her a bit hard to find but still pretty much available to ebay but with higher prices. A few days ago, another sale went up at riuva and I was lucky enough to win the bid for Ryoko for 70SGD, really sweet if you ask me. And with her arriving, it'll be the start of Ryoko's "invasion" in my collection XD

P-Style "Hyper Mode" CG Gold finally unlocked!
Well, as you know, I've been trying to beat the hell of out Disappearance of Hatsune Miku hard for months now and I've finally done it thanks to the tips I read from YouTube users. Probably the P-Style CG Gold is the toughest to unlock since it'll require you to "great" all songs on Hard. And here's the module, the one I usually call "Hyper Mode" since she pretty much reminds me of G Gundam XD

More space for future figures
Well, I've rearranged the boxes yesterday since they're pretty much eating too much space already. Good thing I managed to rearrange them this way:

Official disposal
Well, if you've noticed my tsuki profile (>>>) the number's gone down to 43, yeah, I still have the figures with me but I'm seriously getting rid of them unlike Satsuki who'll soon be relisted to my collection if she survives just a few more days. I've discarded Sega Rin Kagamine, Sega Arcuied Brunestud, Banpresto Kallen Kozuki and my two Twist Action Form Riders. I'm selling them right now but only locally though.
Shelf rearrangement
Yeah, I've rearranged my shelf again but I won't be showing it pretty soon, I'll fix up some stuff first to make it look a lot better but the shelf is more spacy now compared to the previous setup.
More Beach Queens for Wave
Yeah, Wave is planning to complete the K-On characters and add Minmay and Mylene from Macross series. Too lazy to upload pics right now but you can view it at akibahobby. ^^
That's all for now.

K-On! Beach Queens and Nanoha Figmas
I really don't do things like these but anyway, these are in the interests of my friends, so, might as well put them here. The following figures are now up for pre-orders at hobby search, though it isn't available to our country. XD

Wave Beach Queens 1/10 Mio Akiyama and Yui Hirasawa
Height: Mio (16cm); Yui (15.5cm)
Release Date: December 2009
Retail Price: 3800 yen each
Not bad really, I'm not really that picky in scales as long as it's not as big as regular 1/6s, it's ok, Mio's surely eye catching but seriously, getting either Mio or Yui would truly get to make you want to get the other to complete them, not a problem for me though. XD
As for the next, bunch of figures, they would be, as the title says, from the Nanoha line of figmas.

Major Figure Fail
This is my Wave soft Xecty...
Approximately 4 months ago...
I bought Soft Xecty due to her very accurate face compared to Koto's rendition of Xecty which I find inaccurate in terms of face, next to that, the soft parts were also good, so, there... Upon buying, I loved the figure even became one of my favorites in tsuki; but not anymore...
At first, a few weeks of display was very annoying since the soft parts proves hard to clean whenever they absorb dust particles. So, after around 2-3 weeks of display, I decided to return her to her package, to avoid any more dust problems. Supposedly, box preservation won't damage the figure but yesterday, I noticed something... Unpleasant...

So, after around 2-3 weeks of display, I decided to return her to her package, to avoid any more dust problems. Supposedly, box preservation won't damage the figure but yesterday, I noticed something... Unpleasant...
Actually I was really surprised, so, I immediately removed her out of the box to check if it was my imagination. It turned out to be true after all... Her supposedly "soft" parts actually expanded, making the figure really REALLY DISTORTED. Heat is probably my only answer but there isn't any direct sunlight from where she is stored. But fuck, she looks like a blob Xecty now. I think the soft material is rubber, but really this is annoying, I just wish I knew how to fix her back into shape. Wave sure did a failure at their so called soft line, and it had me crying over it since it was freaking expensive. Blob Xecty pics below...
