A Figure-y Christmas!
Depending on where you live, it may or may not be Christmas already and I, for one, am already "late" for the Christmas Greetings here in the Philippines! So, anyway, Tony finds his nice couch occupied by rather uninvited guests but hey, there's pizza for everyone to enjoy courtesy of Shocker Pizza!
Anyway, I really am sorry that the shot might not have been the brightest of colors since I shot that under our Christmas Tree here at home. XD But anyway, A very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my readers out there! Hope you all have a great time in this special day! :D

Teasers: Around 2 Months Bulk of Figure Shoots
So, for the past month and late December I've been failing to deliver some teasers, but not to fear, I was just too busy shooting figures here and there and never found the time to actually post about them since a bulk of my weekends were spent by going outside.
But here they are, more than a dozen of teaser reviews but of course, with their number, I won't be able to give a short teaser description for each, but anyway, feel free to line up the reviews you want to see here in the next few weeks since Feb is a pretty dull month so far. So, I might be filling the blog with Reviews and Random Entries so it won't be that dead XD Figures here are separated by months (starting from late December to just Yesterday)

It's pretty much a mix of different lines since trading figures are even included in this bulk preview. Anyway, I've also updated the pending reviews to the match with all the current available figures to be reviewed upon request or by my random choice. XD Anyway, you know the drill, and note, you can always give a sequence of reviews you want to see, not just one XD

Teasers: Takane Manaka and War Greymon
More articulateds for this time!
I know I haven't reviewed fifthStitch's request yet but heck, more~
First up is another nendo, Manaka Takane from the famed DS game Love Plus. So, pretty much, from just one review of nendos, the articulation system is pretty much the same unless it falls on the super moveable nendos. The main points for a review would be the accessories and whatnot, and for Manaka, well, let's just say she might not have a lot but still good enough and really really cute, I dunno really why I like Manaka so much even though I haven't played the game yet.

Next up is the first release from Bandai's new D-Arts line, War Greymon. Basically features are identical to that of some Figuarts but still War Greymon does have some additional ones and that'll be tackled once the warrior of Courage gets reviewed.

Teasers: Shotaro and Dead Master
Another bunch of teasers~
Alright, two articulateds make it to the teasers this time.
First up is my first chibi-arts, Hidari Shotaro, the left half of the title hero from Kamen Rider Double. Yep, chibi-arts is a lot identical to nendoroids, structure and all. But still somewhat different, but I really liked Shotaro very much in his anime-ish chibi rendition, still pretty much him in many ways. But yeah, I won't reveal much here. Philip's coming home soon too :p

Second is figma Dead Master. Well, she's Yomi, I had to get her no matter what :p Anyway, for a figure which I didn't get my hopes on that much, she was indeed fun despite lacking something I'm to discuss if she gets the review. Really exceeded my expectations since I've been looking at her reviews before and it was like "meh..." whenever I see her. Anyway, that's what I have to say for little Yomi here.

Teaser: Black ★ Rock Shooter
A teaser after a long while
Managed to shoot her at least last Sunday night.
The only one I managed to shoot is, of course, none other than figma B★RS. Really wonderful figma, lots of goodies and a really really cool figma to boot. Action poses just win and with some help, well, let's just say things do get better~ :3

Teasers: Yu and Ryoko
Time for another set of teasers
Managed to shoot them last Saturday night along with a borrowed figure XD
First off would be Kawamura Yu, first of all she's a figma, and you know me, I'm not really a fan of figmas and would just get them when it's for character shrine purposes, but how the heck did Yu pull it off? Well, she's too moe to begin with and quite a lot of accessories too, especially something that caught my eye, but I won't spoil it yet. You might have a clue though when you get what kind of accessories she comes with. Anyway, that's it for Yu. :3

Next up is my 7th Ryoko in the collection, this time is by Wave scaled at 1/10. Though really not that good in details, she definitely has a lot up her sleeve to get for that loss. And maybe you'll already get one or two of those by looking at the 2nd teaser shot below :3

Teasers: X, Apollo Geist and Date Masamune
Managed to shoot these 3 last weekend
Here are some quick feedbacks regarding the 3
S.I.C. Kamen Rider X from Volume 41
Quite frankly the main reason I bought 41 is because of the other half and to get X only for completion's sake. But after shooting the 2, X proves to be the more worth of the pack. Loaded with accessories and really just dynamic in terms of posing. Though, there is but one hellish problem with his articulation points. What that is would be for you to find out once I review this figure.
The other half of the volume, Apollo Geist
My original intention for the Volume, turns out he's hellishly badass desgin wise but not that awesome in terms of articulation. Though as SICs, they look hellishly good even if they're just standing. :p Whether I review him or X first, they're bound to be reviewed consecutively so, there. XD
The really awesome Masamune by Kotobukiya
As stated before, he was out of impulse but after the shoot, I don't regret it. First I though that he was awesome only in details but heck, with proper lighting, he looks ridiculously as he is in the Sengoku Basara games. Really detail heavy making this figure's biggest factor but he's a bit small though, though his price ain't that bad since he also has some extra features with him.

Teasers: Rin and Kiva Emperor
Here's a little something new for your eyes
So here's something "new" I've cooked up while being bored sometimes at work. :p
Basically this kinds of posts are teasers I'll do whenever I finish shooting some new hauls of mine. They are basically what the title says, teasers; teasers for future figure reviews that is. Basically I'd show you two shots of a certain figure, one in the initial pic mixed with other figures included in the teaser post and the other one will be a separate individual shot of the figure. I'll just put some short text after each solo shot, and that'll be it.
I thought that maybe showing some teasers would give an idea to my blog readers which figure would they want me to review next since I'm too lazy to review figures sometimes due to the process of uploading the images. Anyway, that's about it. Now, going to the main part.
First up is the 1/8 Kagamine Rin by GSC
Though I frankly have no love at first for the blond vocaloid, this figure soon catched my attention due to it's overall vibrant atmosphere and really really moe expression. This figure proves well enough to me that it's greater than my favorite scaled Miku which would be it's counterpart from the same company. ^^
And here, we have the SIC Limited Kiva Emperor
Now part of my SIC grails, this was something I got out of luck and by sacrificing a treasured figure as well. The paint job is definitely majestic, royal red and gold, something the tv costume couldn't achive. As an SIC it's really a magnificent piece of work despite the fact that I never really liked Emperor's suit design in the series. The very same mold was used again for Emperor's "Dark" counterpart. This frame is really well balance and you'll soon find out why.
