December Hauls: An Early Christmas
First wave of Xmas hauls 8D
It really did feel like Xmas already when I brought home all these. XD
In reality, 5 of those were my pre-orders which would be the scaled figures and figma Homura, but as for SHF Cure Black and White Max Heart versions, supposedly, they are also on my orders list, but my supplier got cut-off so I wasn't able to get them; I just happened to have stumbled on them for a ridiculously cheap price which is why I got them immediately. And lastly, for Beelzebmon, well, he's really cheap at HLJ and just when they had the flat rate shipping offer weeks ago, I had Beelzebmon ordered and so I finally have all D-Arts Digimon figures released to date XD
And a non-haul but will be someone's haul in the coming Saturday, whoever gets mine for our exchange gift will receive this tiny badass gundam.

October Hauls: Figma Wave
A bunch of figmas that I got before and after the my slight halt during the past 2 week
And they're a bunch of figmas as the title says XD
I actually got Manaka and Madoka quite early on but forgot to post them immediately and as I was planning to actually post them in the latter week, the bad news struck and I had to go on halt for a while. Suika was my loot last Saturday and I must say she's reallllllllllly cute X3 But yeah, first one to get reviewed from the 3 is obviously Madoka so stay tuned 8D

Wave's Upcoming DreamTech 1/8 Takane Manaka
DARN GORGEOUS!
And she's the only one appearing in my news :p
Shifting from the regular 1/10 scale, DreamTech sort of comes back and presents us with the 3 Love Plus girls in new, better and sexier swimsuits than the ones in their Beach Queen's lineup; Manaka goes first (as usual) and now sporting a very fine and tight white swimsuit as opposed to the polka dotted one from before. And even the face does a really good job of spelling Manaka in it.
Manaka is scheduled for a November release for 6,510 yen which isn't bad already. Images and info from Wave's page. And since I won't be posting the other 2, you might want to visit their pages in case it's them you're after: Rinko, Nene

Max Factory's Upcoming Figma Takane Manaka
Love Plus begins now!
And they started with my favorite too 8D
So yeah, while fact remains that the nendo didn't sell well, let's just see how this one goes. Anyway, Manaka has 3 faces: a default expressionless face, an embarrassed face, and a kiss face, all of which are similar to her nendo faces.
If you've noticed the kiss face pic above, she's in a tip toe position and that makes give her extra feet parts. Aside from those she's got a bag (as seen from the main pic), a tennis racket case (hope she has an actual tennis racket though :p), an alternate ribbon and bunny ears hairband. AND! The sweetest addition IMO... is the inclusion of her short hair which was my favorite back in the extra expressions on Konami Style's Manaka.
Manaka is set for a September release for a tax inclusive price of 3200 yen. Images from GSC's information page.

Review: [Konami] Takane Manaka

Manaka's box is pretty plain, just white with a big light blue plus, and lots of small ones around. What really wins the rather plain design for me is the artwork included, and it's not your usual ponytailed Manaka, but rather her short hair, which actually looks nice on her as well. And yeah, I've not played the game but I do like Manaka's face a lot and I don't actually need to play that DS game to like her XD

Though Konami is not really the type to release a large figure on a regular basis, they certainly did a fine job on Manaka, I loved the crisp folds on her uniform and it's overall flow of something like being gusted a little by the wind. Her skirt's flow does look a little stiff around the edges but it's still painted nicely which gets over my point XD
What's also nice is how the bag was made, it's pretty detailed and even so, they even included a keychain or strap attached to the zipper which is a pretty nice touch if you ask me. But yeah, probably the only real negative point I can give is her hair, it looks... really rough in texture. But still overall, Manaka is above average. ^^
Lastly, the base is very simple but still kinda nice as it's another plus(+) sign with the text Love Plus in it. XD

Well, Manaka's really pretty in this figure and since it's from the makers themselves, they captured her just fine. The pose is pretty nice and gentle which makes it camera friendly as well as really nice in display. And in many angles, Manaka just looks sweet.
Well now, one of the main selling factors of this release was the inclusion of a lot of alternate hairstyles for each of the love plus girls. And basically there are 4 extra hairpieces as default for each girl. While there are lots of options the hairs still kept the same flow as the ponytail style with them, which is nice, although not all of the other hairstyles look that good but I guess that's on me; just the mere inclusion of the hairstyles was a nice move already by all means as you basically have options even if it's just with the hair.
Quite frankly, I really loved the short hairstyle as it looked really appealing in many ways and actually does give you more attention on Manaka's face when you do use it. Anyway, another bonus but supposedly only for those who bought the set of 3 from Konami Style's online shop was a last unique hairpiece; this hairpiece is of another character from another dating sim of Konami, and it's a character named Fujisaki Shiori from Konami's Tokimeki Memorial game.
Though it's still basically Manaka it still does give a bit of difference due to the hair color. I actually got this by luck from HLJ, as I only ordered Manaka really, but turns out that the hairpiece was slipped inside the box XD And yeah, I won't include this hairpiece as a factor on the Appeal section score later on XD

Manaka's really worth the money even though she's a bit more expensive overseas due to the fact that she's a konami style exclusive but hey, HLJ brought them in for quite a good price a few months back. The hairstyles really win it for me and IMO Manaka's the best out of three for this line and most definitely one of my best hauls for this year XD I'd really suggest her those who are IN to Manaka or just a Love Plus fan, really good figure but if you're not into the series or the character, probably just pass on her and get something else. :p

January Hauls: Mini Temptress, Mini Master and Multi Hairstyle
Hauls from yesterday~
Well, here are my last grabs for the month :D
So what have I got? Well one there's Hobby Japan's QB Petit box but I really just bought it to get the two Airis in there, it's a box of 8 but I already sold 3 yesterday, so there's 5 remaining there but 2 of them are reserved already, have an extra Menace though I don't know what to do with it.
Next to the QB box is Konami's 1/8 Takane Manaka, which is known for having 5 hairstyles and being a dreaded konami style shop exclusive and luckily in my case, I got the bonus hairstyle, which is supposedly only for those who ordered the set of 3 from Konami, well, I dunno but I sure am lucky XD
Last but certainly not least is Nendo Dead Master, now, I can finally shoot my BRS, overdue shoot actually, but anyway, that's it for my final hauls this month.

Teasers: Takane Manaka and War Greymon
More articulateds for this time!
I know I haven't reviewed fifthStitch's request yet but heck, more~
First up is another nendo, Manaka Takane from the famed DS game Love Plus. So, pretty much, from just one review of nendos, the articulation system is pretty much the same unless it falls on the super moveable nendos. The main points for a review would be the accessories and whatnot, and for Manaka, well, let's just say she might not have a lot but still good enough and really really cute, I dunno really why I like Manaka so much even though I haven't played the game yet.

Next up is the first release from Bandai's new D-Arts line, War Greymon. Basically features are identical to that of some Figuarts but still War Greymon does have some additional ones and that'll be tackled once the warrior of Courage gets reviewed.

October Hauls: The Reformed, Virtual Detto, Miku Cat and 4th BRS
So yeah, quite a number of articulated figures today XD
So here's a little summary XD
So, the first pic was here since last week, I asked my friend lelouch to pick it up for me last Sunday since I was going to another event. And I got to take them home earlier. Got these two from mandarake with the help of a friend again XD While Convoy Super Black is rare locally, he's also my first ever transforming transformer since I started on the hobby. Manaka on the other hand is the only one I like from the Love Plus trio but yeah, she went down for 1.5k yen at mandarake so I didn't waste the chance to get her early and cheap since she was in my nendo targets.
Going to the second picture, they're just as you see it, Kuro the mascot dressed up as Hatsune Miku, and figma Black Rock Shooter, so yeah, if ever you're wondering why there are two BRS figmas there, the other one belongs to a certain author here, lol. XD Anyway, that's it a total of 4 articulated figures for me and man is Black Convoy amazing, just transformed him a while ago and since I was excited as hell, I took a quickshot of him:
